St. Mary of the Lake Re-organisation
With the junior/senior students and staff moving to the new school in late Feb/early March as well as the removal of some of the temporary portable classrooms, St. Mary of the Lake School will need to re- organised. Students from grades 1-3 will be moved into the West wing near the current Kindergarten room while students in grades 4-6 will move into the East wing. Over the next few months the portable classrooms currently being used by the grades 4-6 classes will be taken back by Alberta Education.
We are asking that all grades 4-6 students take home their personal belongings on Feb. 27th. Any items left in lockers will be removed and put in a common lost and found bin. We do not have the time to label which locker they came from. Students will be issued a new locker by their home room teachers on March 2nd after the 3 day re-organisation break for students.
We appreciate your support as we prepare for this exciting change within our school.
